Not only do I clean Customers Carpets, But I also love to engage in chat over a coffee. This can be any topic, the Weather, the lovely sports Car they have in the drive…. But this one really Wound me up ( Normally I am Mr Cool and laid back)………..
One of my Customers With a lovely flat in Clifton, had gone for one of these Carpet Cleaning offers Promoted on the Internet that you pay up front for ,,, Often at a much ” Discounted” price…. Well two Guys arrived, seemed to be getting ready for the 100mtr Sprint at the speed they worked, sloshed something in the tank and splashed the carpets…They said they had finished, and customer was of the opinion that nothing looked any better,,, then the trump card was played…. ” Well my love its like this,,, The price you paid is for a basic clean, a deep clean will cost you £85 more but allow us to show you the difference.”
They then deep cleaned a section of the middle of the lounge most visable, using a spray, scrub and deep clean. Now my lovely Customer has a section of carpet in the middle of her lounge looking very different. The next day she had planned a dinner party and could not face 10 people all asking the same questions about her carpet. She paid the extra but felt cheated and fed up…
THIS TYPE OF CLEANING REFLECTS VERY BADLY ON THE CARPET CLEANING TRADE AND IS SOMETHING I URGE MY CUSTOMERS TO BE AWARE OF..
